Ringtones
Ok, So I was wondering. What kind of ringtones do you have on your cell phone? If you could be one ringtone on everyone you knows cell phone what would it be?
I have Madonna (Like a Virgin) for Ashli, Mel, Kelly and Amanda
I have I ain't as good as I once was (toby keith) for the lovely nick b/c he loves toby keith and the words are just hilarious. example: If you need some love tonight, I might have just enough. I ain't as good as I once was, but I'm as good once, as I ever was. Funny stuff.
I have MargaritaVille for my cousin Deborah.
If I had just one ringtone for myself for every one to use it would probably be Like a Virgin. Just for the looks you get at the store. Cause it starts out LOUDLY with 'Like a Virgin, HEY!! Touched for the very First Time'. Funny Stuff.

I love the song Bittersweet Symphony...something about it is really catchy and just makes me smile. I only have one other ring-it's for Luke...he picked it out too...LowRider. I always get a little embarrassed when that one goes off because I'm not exactly a thug if you know what I mean.
I have just a dumb stock version ringtone. I don't think I even know how to customize. A 101 please, someone?
Let's see, my personal ringtone on everyone's phones? Probably something Prince, like Little Red Corvette or ooo! even better: Raspberry Beret!! Yes, definitely Raspberry Beret.
I think I might have to say "Gold Digger" by Kanye West and Jamie Foxx. I LOVE that song. Plus, you know you gangsta I am.

I have issues downloading ringtones. I just have a boring selection given to me and Mike insists on putting this stupid sounding gangsta song on it. I change it to a disco-ey theme when he doesn't have the phone....but it always goes back. I need to enroll in 101, too!
By the way Brooke, my metal head cousin (or used to be anyway) likes Toby Keith?! I guess I need to re-acquaint myself! :-)
My normal ringtone is birds chirping. Yesterday at the post office my phone rang and a woman in front of me said "Well, that's a pleasant sound for a change!"
When my friend Larry calls, it's a techno song.
But if I chose a ring for myself it would be Mike Doughty's Busting Up A Starbucks. It starts out with him boldly singing -

and then for the chourus he sings over and over:

I think mine needs to be "Mother's Little Helper" because it really is a drag getting old
Well my ringtones of course are mostly all Coldplay, BIG shocker, I think I have about 6 songs downloaded total. When Chris calls me it's mr. Brightside (the killers), it goes "destiny is calling me" haha and brooke's ring is In My Place (coldplay) and I don't feel very special knowing that I share a ringtone with 3 others Brooke, god, I thought i meant more than that to you!
I wish I was as cultured as "penny". with such elegance as a poem for a ringtone... wait, can a poem be a ringtone?
anyhow, my ringtone would be a fart - for myself and for others. since i never answer the dam phone, i would love if i got more calls. then, i could walk around with my phone farting and people would think it was me. but, perhaps it was me? then i could write a poem about whether my phone was farting, or i was farting! and i could read this poetry at starbucks, and penny could bust it up.
my phone farts,
its electronic parts;
fills my jeans,
with squeamish dreams.
is it the phone or is it me,
only my sphincter holds the key.
i fart in walmart,
which propels my cart, like a dart.
